Project:
1.- In pairs, look
for information about football as a social and cultural phenomenon. Use
magazines and newspapers, books and the internet.
2.- Design a poster
on “The Importance of Football as a Social and Cultural Phenomenon” with
drawings, illustrations and short texts.
3.- Present your
poster to the rest of the class. Make sure you include Conclusions in your
presentation.
FIRST AID
First steps for a first aid emergency (the 3 C's)
1. Check
a. The scene: Is it safe for you to approach? Also see how many victims there are and look for bystanders who can assist.
b. The victim: Is the victim conscious? If "Yes," obtain consent from victim before giving care. If consent is not given, still call 9-1-1, but do not provide care. When a victim is unconscious or unable to give consent, consent is implied.
2. Call 9-1-1 for assistance.
3. Care for life-threatening conditions until the first responder(s) arrive. ABC
- Airway - is the victim's airway open?
- Breathing - look, listen, and feel for breathing.
- Circulation - check for signs of circulation.
